British Airways A380
Info
Horizon was the launch of four completely redesigned cabins for British Airways’ A380 fleet, introducing a new generation of First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller seats. With four distinct products to reveal, the challenge was to create a visual identity that brought them together while giving each its own personality.
I took the project from the first creative conversations through to launch, building the concept around the Horizon. Rather than presenting the seats in conventional cabin settings, I developed a series of atmospheric, almost otherworldly environments that gave the products their own stage. I worked closely with our CGI partners to art direct everything from the wider visual treatment to the lighting, materials, camera angles and finer details, creating a consistent visual language across all four cabins.
My involvement extended beyond the CGI into the wider launch campaign, developing creative across key communications and conceiving and delivering the live countdown to the global reveal. From pitching the original idea and directing production to managing suppliers and signing off the finished work, I had creative ownership of the project throughout.
The result was a launch that gave four very different products a shared identity, and a visual world that felt distinctly their own.
